Minutes of the
April 14, 2000, Meeting

The April 2000 meeting of the General George Patton Chapter of CSSAR was held in the Library of the Berylwood Officers Club on 14 April 2000. The meeting was called to order by President Hale Hamilton at 12:00 p.m. Following the Invocation, Pledge of Allegiance, and SAR Pledge, members and guests adjourned to the buffet for lunch. Six Chapter Compatriots were present: John Bayles, O.B. Dutton, Hale Hamilton, Dick Hawley, Ronald Risley, and Jay C. Wood. Guests included: Rosemarie Risley.

Following lunch, President Hamilton reconvened the meeting, and proceeded immediately into the program, "Report on the State board of managers Meeting in Pacifica," by Jay C. Wood and Ron Risley and Hale Hamilton, who reported the highlights of the meeting and their personal experience/impression of the events.

Following the program, the minutes of the March meeting were submitted, and approved as distributed. The Treasurer's Report was presented by the Treasurer, Ron Risley, and was accepted subject to audit.

Committee/Other Reports: Committee chairmen reported on the preceeding month's events. Compatriot Wood reported on Mary Ford, the Freedom Foundations winner who will be traveling to Valley Forge to attend a graduate level course the last week of July and the first week in August. She will also be attending the CASSAR fall meeting n the Bay Area.

After the SAR Recessional and Benediction, the meeting was adjourned at 2:00 p.m.
